Twelve impaired drivers arrested in Union County this week: Sheriff

INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Over the past five days, the Union County Sheriff’s Office (UCSO) says they have arrested 12 people for impaired driving.

The majority of those were arrested during the St. Patrick’s holiday weekend. The exact charges vary for each arrestee:

  • Kody Brown

  • Luis Cifuentes-Calero

  • Ashley Brown

  • David Price

  • Edgar Cruz

  • Paul Cameron

  • Kadrick Dunlap

  • Jose Martinez-Morales

  • Jorge Camacho-Landaverde

  • Froylan Gomez-Garcia

  • Eileen Perdomo

“Each of these 12 defendants chose to put the lives of other innocent motorists at risk by driving on Union County roadways while impaired,” the UCSO said in a social media post.

The UCSO Alcohol Field Enforcement (S.A.F.E) Unit and Town of Indian Trail Division conducted the arrests.

If you see another driver who appears to be impaired, authorities ask that you call 911 immediately.
