The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall, which lists those killed in the war and honors all who served in it, will be in Desert Hot Springs from Thursday to Monday.

Desert Hot Springs said on its Facebook page that the wall, a replica of the one near the National Mall in Washington, D.C., is a reminder of Vietnam War veterans' "courage, dedication, and ultimate sacrifice for our nation's freedom."

"This is an opportunity for our community to come together, reflect, and show our gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice," the city said.

The wall is a half-size version of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, which chronologically lists the names of 58,318 veterans who died serving in the Vietnam War, according to the National Park Service.

You can see it at Mission Springs Park, located at 14-510 Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs, any time from May 16 to May 20 for free.
