TRAFFIC ALERT: Portion of U.S. 280 in Lee County closed due to crash

UPDATE 4/11/24 10:28 a.m.: The road has re-opened, according to ALEA.

LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) — A portion of U.S. 280 in Lee County is closed as of Thursday morning due to a crash.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency troopers are on the scene of U.S. 280 near Alabama 147. All lanes of the highway are blocked as of about 8:24 a.m.

It is undetermined when the roadway will re-open at this time. WRBL will keep you updated.
