TRAFFIC ALERT: North and southbound lanes of I-185 near Buena Vista Road to close

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Part of a major interstate in Columbus will be closing nightly starting Friday as construction is carried out.

I-185 North and Southbound at Exit 4 (Buena Vista Road) is set to close from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, May 10 through that following Sunday. According to the city, the bridge overpass demolition will be underway.

Drivers will be routed through the on and off ramps during the closure. The city asks you proceed with caution in that area.
