I-80 East reopened after tractor-trailer crash in Columbia County

MIFFLIN TOWNSHIP, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Interstate 80 East is now back open after operating under a lane restriction due to an early morning tractor-trailer crash in Columbia County.

According to PennDOT, the roadway reopened around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

PennDOT says the lane restriction on Interstate 80 eastbound was between mile marker 243 and 244, just east of Exit 242 (Route 339 / Mifflinville / Mainville) in Columbia County.

First responders told 28/22 News emergency crews were called to the area of mile marker 244 around 3:30 a.m. for the crash.
