TN man wanted on sex crime charge with child under 13

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 42-year-old fugitive from Gibson County, Tennessee is wanted for alleged aggravated sexual battery of a child under the age of 13.

Albert Pirtle Jr., whose last known address was in Humboldt, bonded out in 2021 and failed to appear in court last December, according to District Attorney General Frederick Agee’s office.

The DA’s office asks anyone with information on his whereabouts to encourage him to safely surrender himself to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department or Humboldt Police Department.
