Thursday Outlook: Dry conditions, mid-60s around Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – Good morning and happy Friday eve! As we close in on the weekend the wet weather is clearing out and sunshine along with warmer temperatures are moving in for the region. Heading into Easter Weekend warmer temperatures along with sunny skies are in the forecast with highs near 80 once we get to Easter afternoon.

Our next chance for wet weather will come on Tuesday and into Wednesday as our next cold front pushes into the Carolinas.

As for your Thursday, clouds and a few scattered showers, this morning will clear out as we go from the morning hours into the afternoon. Highs will rebound nicely back into the mid-60s this afternoon as sunshine makes a comeback.

Friday and heading through your Easter Weekend we are expecting fabulous weather with highs back in the 70s for Friday with ample sunshine and even warmer weather as we head into the weekend. Saturday and Easter Sunday will be dry and warm with highs in the upper 70s Saturday and pushing towards the 80-degree mark.

Dry weather will likely continue until we get later in the day on Tuesday and into Wednesday when our next front will push into the Carolinas bringing showers and thunderstorms back to the forecast.
