Thousands expected to attend Franklin Pride 2024

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — Thousands of people are expected to come to Williamson County next weekend to attend Franklin Pride 2024, according to event organizers.

The event, Franklin Pride 2024, will take place on Saturday, June 1 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm.

Organizers said after last year’s success, Franklin Pride will return this year with an “even larger festival” to celebrate its fourth anniversary.

In fact, more than 100 vendors are expected to be in attendance, and the event will also feature a Doggy Fashion Show sponsored by Petsense.

Franklin Pride 2024 will have two stages featuring nonstop entertainment. Artists performing at the event include Autumn Nicholas and Them, Sisters Mann, Bryan Ruby, Lips Speak Louder, Gwen Levy and the Breakdown, Gloom Girl MFG, Dianne Davidson, and Major Minors.

Earlier this month, the FBI issued a warning about foreign organizations potentially targeting LGBTQ events and venues during Pride Month, which begins in June.

However, event organizers for Franklin Pride said safety is a top priority and ensured that the event would be “heavily secured by the Franklin Police Department as well as private security groups.”
