Third suspect charged by SLED in connection to May Street shooting in Johnston, S.C.

EDGEFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – Another suspect has been charged by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) in connection to the death of 35-year-old Ricky Martin, Jr.

Martin, of Sumter, S.C., was shot multiple times with a firearm according to the arrest warrant, and the incident took place on May Street in Johnston, South Carolina, according to authorities.

According to SLED, Anthony Lee Fletcher, 58, has been charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder on Wednesday, April 3rd.

According to the arrest warrant, Fletcher did knowingly and willfully assist Quenell Marquis Anderson, 37, after the fact in connection to the murder of Martin by taking possession of the firearm Anderson used to shoot Martin.

The warrant also states that Fletcher was observed getting into Roscoe Pough, Jr.‘s, 37, 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche and leaving the scene with Pough and Anderson.

Authorities say Fletcher is currently booked at the Edgefield County Detention Center.

SLED previously charged Pough with Accessory After the Fact to Murder on Monday, March 4th and Anderson with Murder on Wednesday, March 20th.
