Teacher of the week: Mrs. Kristina Martinez
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The April 19 Teacher of the Week is Mrs. Kristina Martinez Bonham Elementary.
Mrs. Martinez teaches English language arts and reading at Bonham. She has been teaching at Bonham for 11 years.
She is described as a true example of what servant leadership looks like. She takes the time to
Check-in with her students when they are out sick and cover them in prayer. Her students and their parents are very thankful to have her as a teacher. Her love and compassion for her students shines through in her work every day.
When asked if to share with the public, she said, “I’ve just really enjoyed being a teacher and if there’s anybody out there who’s watching and you have an inkling of feeling that you might want to be a teacher, I’d say go for it, because it’s a awesome career with lots of positive moments.”
