Suspect Wanted: Deadly hit-and-run in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – Police are asking for the public’s help to track down a suspect wanted for a deadly hit-and-run crash.

Driver trapped in wreckage more than 40 minutes

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at about 9:30 p.m., a 45-year-old man was hit by a truck while crossing Scranton Road.

Police describe the truck as a white, smaller size 2-door pickup truck. Police released the following pictures:

According to police, the victim was transported to the hospital and was pronounced dead.
