Cloudy for Monday’s eclipse? A look at the forecast

(WJW) — Clouds move in late ahead of showers tonight.

Monday has a cloudy start, with a few spotty showers in the morning. Nothing widespread.

Clouds gradually thin Monday afternoon for the total solar eclipse and it’s partly sunny skies further west of Cleveland, thin clouds over Cleveland but more clouds are expected east and southeast of the city.

You couldn’t ask for more perfect conditions for the Guardians Home Opener! Mostly sunny and mid 60s.

It’ll be warm but unsettled this week. We’ll have on and off again showers, maybe even some thunderstorms throughout the week. The weekend looks good though!
