Suki Waterhouse has revealed the sex of her and Robert Pattinson's baby.

Daisy & the Six actor Waterhouse and The Batman star Pattinson announced that they had welcomed a child into the world earlier this month, although they did not say whether they had a boy or a girl at the time.

During an appearance at Coachella, Waterhouse used part of her performance to give a shout-out to various women who were also performing at the festival, before explaining that she now has a daughter.

"I don't know if some of you know but I've had some pretty big life changes happen recently," she said, adding: "I feel very lucky to have my own amazing lady."

Waterhouse actually revealed that she was pregnant at a previous festival, joking that she was wearing a very sparkly outfit in order to distract the audience from something else, before opening her coat to reveal her baby bump.

Last year, a few months after the release of Daisy Jones & the Six, creators Scott Neustadter and Lauren Levy Neustadter spoke about the possibility of a second season, which would turn the show from a limited series to a regular series.

"If any time Amazon came to us and said, 'What would it be?', we would put our little thinking caps on about it," Lauren said.

Scott added: "It's super fun to sit and talk to Taylor [Jenkins Read, the novel's author] for hours about where we think we could take this next. It was a calculated move to move [the flash forwards] to their 40s. There's a lot of life left to live, so there could be a future."
