13-year-old charged with Wilkes-Barre homicide

The student was later identified as Christian Samay, who was expected to graduate this spring according to Bucknell University President John Bravman.

Authorities say the death is not related to last night’s active shooter alert, and is not considered suspicious.

Bravman stated that counselors are available by phone this weekend, and to call (570) 577-1604 in a post made the school today.
