The stepson of former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Siggy Flicker was arrested in connection to his alleged role in the Capitol riots on Jan. 6, after Flicker reportedly shared evidence of him attending on social media.

Tyler Campanella was detained Wednesday in New York City, and is now facing five misdemeanor charges related to his unlawful entry into the Capitol with “intent to impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of Government,” according to court records obtained by NBC News.

“I love patriots so much. Stay safe Tyler. We love you,” Flicker allegedly wrote in an Instagram post she shared after the insurrection.

Federal officials say Flicker later took down the post, but that it included photos and other evidence that helped prove Campanella was at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

The government also subpoenaed phone records which they used to determine a cellphone belonging to Campanella had been inside the Capitol building during the time of the incident.

The phone was also connected to Bayside Chrysler, according to the FBI, a Queens dealership where Campanella is reportedly employed as a sales manager.

Federal agents also used security footage to identify Campanella inside the building, where he appeared to sport a QAnon flag as a cape.

NBC News reported that additional footage showed the young man entering the office of then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi, where her laptop was stolen on the day of the riot.

There’s no word yet on what Campanella’s potential sentence would be if convicted. Others convicted for participating in the Jan. 6 riots have received sentences ranging from a few days behind bars to 22 years in prison.

Sigalit “Siggy” Flicker married Campanella’s father Michael in 2012, and has been extremely vocal about her support for former President Donald Trump on her social media pages. She’s also reportedly friends with Alina Habba, an attorney who has represented Trump in the past.

Although Flicker seems to share the same political views as her stepson, she has denied accusations that she was also present during the Capitol riots.

So far, she has not commented publicly on the legal situation involving her stepson.

Flicker was a main cast member of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” through seasons 7 and 8, before leaving the show in 2018.
