St. Charles man accused of recording victims without consent

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – A St. Charles man faces six counts of invasion of privacy for allegedly videotaping individuals without their consent.

Court documents obtained by FOX 2 state that Timothy W. Fry recorded four victims between March 21, 2021, and May 14, 2023.

According to the documents, Fry recorded three victims without their permission while they were either partially or fully undressed in a private area in St. Charles County, Missouri, during the aforementioned period. He shared these recordings online, allowing unauthorized access by others.

The court documents further allege that on March 21, 2021, and September 30, 2021, Fry intentionally recorded one of the victims without their consent, with the aim of viewing them under or through their clothing, including their body or undergarments. The defendant then shared this recording online, making it accessible to others via computer.

Authorities have issued a warrant for Fry’s arrest, per court documents. If convicted, each felony charge of invasion of privacy could mean anywhere from one to four years behind bars, per Missouri statutes.
