"This project exemplifies the power of collaboration between the arts and public infrastructure to inspire creativity and community engagement," said Pam Atchison, Executive Director of the Shreveport Regional Arts Council.

He continued by saying, "by infusing creativity into our infrastructure, we aim to celebrate the unique spirit of Shreveport and foster a sense of pride and belonging among our residents."

According to SRAC, the selection process will ensure that the chosen design will capture the essence of the city's identity, while also adhering to the theme of "I Love Shreveport."

Artists are being encouraged to submit proposals that convey a positive message about the city through its rich heritage and vibrant culture.

"We believe that by involving artists from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, we can create truly impactful designs that resonate with the people of Shreveport," said Atchison.
