Sheriff's office requests the public's help locating stolen tractors

Mar. 21—The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in a case of two missing tractors.

The sheriff's office received a call Monday, March 18, indicating two tractors were stolen.

The first tractor is an orange 2020 Kubota with a front-end loader, while the second is an orange 2023 Kubota tractor with a front-end loader and a backhoe.

Anyone who noticed suspicious activity March 18 in the area around the intersection of Hwy 110 and Hwy 204, or has any information regarding the missing tractors, is asked to contact the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at 903-683-2271.

The sheriff's office reminds residents to be vigilant and, when possible, store heavy equipment such as tractors or ATV's out of public view overnight.
