Severe t’storms and heavy rain possible this weekend

After some nice weather Wednesday and Thursday, all eyes shift to the potential for severe storms and heavy rain this weekend.

A weather pattern is setting up for the chance of severe storms AND heavy rain Friday through Sunday. As of now the biggest threats for severe weather look to be Friday evening and Sunday.

All types of severe weather will be possible as a potent storm comes in 2 waves into the middle part of the country.

Aside from the severe t’storms chances, heavy rain is a good bet with some computer models suggesting more than 3″ of rain this weekend.
