Seven men arrested following an Oshkosh Police Department undercover prostitution investigation

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say an undercover prostitution investigation on the South side of Oshkosh led to the arrest of seven men Wednesday night.

According to a release from the Oshkosh Police Department, the department’s Vice and Narcotic unit, along with other detectives and patrol officers, conducted the incident that resulted in the arrest of 7 men.

Those who were arrested are reportedly from Neenah, Fond du Lac, the Town of Vinland, Kaukauna, Florence, Oshkosh, and De Pere.

Officers say six of these men were arrested for Pandering with the seventh man being arrested for Pandering as well as Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

“The Oshkosh Police Department works diligently to investigate crimes of this nature. For a variety of reasons, it can be very hard for Human Trafficking victims to get out of these situations. We partner with local nonprofit organizations so that resources can be quickly provided to victims. The Oshkosh Police Department strives to reduce the number of victims by doing proactive investigations and being vigilant in our efforts to combat Human Trafficking.”
