Senator Baldwin announces rural airport funding for Wisconsin

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Senator Tammy Baldwin announcing today (4/9/24) that several rural Wisconsin airports will receive funding to make upgrades and improve safety. Baldwin says the grants are coming as part of the bipartisan infrastructure law she helped author.

A majority of the money, just over $2 million, will be going to the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport. That money will be used to construct a new hanger for aircraft storage maintenance and servicing.
