Selinsgrove man sentenced to life for first-degree murder

SNYDER COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Years after a 2022 incident in Penn Township, Snyder County officials tell 28/22 News a Selinsgrove man has been sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder, along with other charges.

According to the Snyder County District Attorney’s Office, Brad Alan Bailor of Selinsgrove was sentenced to life in prison without parole for first-degree murder, criminal homicide, and other related charges.

Back in April 2022, 28/22 News reported on an incident where police were called to the 1100 block of Market Street in Penn Township for reported shots fired.

Upon arriving on scene, troopers say they found Bailor and later took him into custody.

Troopers say Leslie Bailor, Brad’s wife, was found dead in the bedroom of the home with reported gunshot wounds.

Court documents say Bailor admitted to police an argument between him and his wife escalated and when she called police, he admitted to shooting her multiple times.
