Second Harvest Food Bank receives $25k grant from Dunkin’ Donuts
KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee received a $25,000 grant from Dunkin’ Donuts on Friday.
The grant was awarded through The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation’s $1 million in grants gifted to support efforts in bringing relief to children and families experiencing food insecurity.
The funds will go towards backpack, school pantry and summer food programs.
The Tri-Cities Dunkin’ also participated in packing food for local food relief programs during Second Harvest’s Volunteer Month.
