A Scurry County accident results in a fatality

A two-vehicle accident in Snyder last week has resulted in a woman's death, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Around 8 p.m. March 21, a 2008 Saturn Outlook attempted entry on to the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 84 from Ennis Creek Road.

A 1999 Chevrolet pickup was traveling south on US 84 approaching the Ennis Creek Road crossover. The Saturn failed to yield the right of way, causing the Chevrolet to collide with its right side, according to the DPS.
