Guernsey Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a garage shop on Sunday.

About 01:05 BST, a male suspect entered the shop and stole scratch cards and cigarettes, according to officers.

Police have appealed for witnesses to this incident, including anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area on the night.

Officers said they were also keen to speak to two men who were seen in the area at the time.

They were described as two white males, aged between 16 and 35, wearing casual clothing, trainers, a hoody top or a cap and carrying a bag.

Police said people should be cautious if someone tried to sell them cigarettes or scratch cards directly.
