Saturday weather alerts issued for CSRA counties

AUGUSTA (WJBF) – The threat of severe weather has ended for the CSRA on Saturday.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was scheduled to remain in effect for Emanuel County until 8 p.m., but the all-clear was given by 6:30 p.m.

As a result of the storm, the National Weather Service reported power lines down along Hidden Harbor Road in Lincoln County. This happened less than 24 hours after severe weather affected high school graduation ceremonies in three local counties, with ceremonies being moved indoors in Columbia and McDuffie, while the ceremony was delayed in Lincoln County.
