Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans providing meals to residents impacted by tornado on Wednesday

SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — The Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans is providing dinner to Slidell residents and first responders impacted by the tornado on Wednesday.

According to The Salvation Army officials, they will be providing water, snacks and a hot meal of beef stew from the command’s FedEx and Community Coffee Canteens to anyone in need.

Major Ed Binnix, Commander of The Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans, will be available to provide spiritual and emotional support to anyone who wishes to receive those services.

The Salvation Army will be providing food from noon until the food runs out at Fritchie Park, 905 W. Howze Beach Road in Slidell.
