Ryan Huntley named transportation director for Carthage School District

May 21—CARTHAGE, Mo. — Ryan Huntley has been named new transportation director for the Carthage School District.

He worked 24 years with the Carthage Fire Department serving in various capacities, including as fire chief, and was instrumental in ensuring adherence to city and departmental policies, overseeing safety protocols, managing budgets and spearheading public education initiatives, according to the school district.

Huntley said in a statement: "I am committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students through the provision of reliable and efficient transportation services. I look forward to working closely with the transportation team to uphold the high standards of excellence that Carthage schools are known for."

"We are thrilled to welcome Ryan Huntley to his new role as transportation director," Holley Goodnight, assistant superintendent of business for Carthage schools, said in a statement. "His extensive experience and proven track record in leadership and emergency management make him an invaluable addition to our team.
