Royse City HS Class of 2024 to celebrate graduation this Friday

May 21—This Friday, the young people of Royse City ISD's Class of 2024 will walk across the stage at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland as they celebrate a significant steppingstone in their lives.

Scheduled to begin a 7 p.m., parking will be cashless and tickets will be scanned upon entry. The center also does not allow in-and-outs or saving seats for others.

Prohibited items at the Curtis Culwell Center include: weapons of any kind (including pocket knives), outside food and beverages, wrapped gifts, umbrellas, camera tripods/monopods, artificial noisemakers (air horns, bells etc.), signs, posters, balloons, beach balls, confetti, flowers/vases and non-service animals.

The center also requires that all bags and cases be clear.

Highlights of the ceremony will, of course, include recognition of the class' valedictorian Alex Hall and salutatorian Hayden Wofford, as well as the class' remaining top 10 students: Adeline Nenzou, Benjamin Woodruff, Gael Aguilar, Kierdan Naverette, Crison Francis, Lordsdeed Mbuan, Katelyn Westwood and Camden Tanksley.
