Rock singer Melissa Etheridge brings her “I’m Not Broken Tour” to Turlock Community Theatre. Etheridge hit the rock scene in 1988 with her self-titled debut album. Her hits include “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs,” “I’m the Only One,” “Come to My Window” and “I Want to Come Over.”

Carrot Top
Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson has been doing his stand-up comedy for more than three decades and will bring his show to the Gallo Center. “Since 2005, fans have flocked to his Las Vegas headlining residency at Luxor Hotel and Casino to catch comedy’s King of Props induce sidesplitting laughter with his current take on pop culture, music and headlines of the day in a continually evolving show,” according to the center’s website.

Marta Pereira da Costa and Duarte
The Gallo Center will host fado performers Marta Pereira da Costa along with guest artists Duarte. Pereira da Costa is a guitarist and Duarte a singer who perform the expressive Portuguese music.

Cirque Mechanics

Hank Williams tribute
Jason Petty celebrates Hank Williams’ 100th birthday with his tribute, “Hank and My Honky Tonk Heroes,” at the Gallo Center. Petty brings Williams’ music and also pays tribute to those who influenced him and were influenced by him.

Paul McCartney tribute

The Beat Farmers
The Modesto Area Music Association presents a show at the State Theatre by The Beat Farmers, the group’s first concert in Modesto in nearly 30 years. Modesto Area Partners in Science presents “Tethered Through Turbulence: Human and Environmental Impacts on Mussel Attachment” with Georget Oraha.
