The Resort at Glade Springs holds Easter Egg Hunt

DANIELS, WV (WVNS) — After eating all the delicious foods at the brunch, the kids are invited to come down and hunt for Easter eggs!

Hundreds of eggs have been stashed in the field in front of the Glade pavilion, filled with candy and other goodies. Cheslea Andrade, Events Producer for the resort, said that preparations begin long before Easter.

Why is Easter never on the same Sunday?

“Yeah, so we basically start prepping early on by finding prizes, we order over a thousand Easter eggs, and then we also hand-stuff twelve golden eggs with numbers that correlate with some really awesome prizes that we’re excited for this year. We take our time, we wanna make sure that yes, there’s some that you can see, but there’s a lot you can’t see either,” said Andrade.

The egg hunt will be divided by age category with one hunt for children 6 and under, and another for children from 6 to 12 years old. Face-painting and photos with the Easter Bunny were also available at the pavilion.
