Rain chance on Memorial Day, but not all day long

The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5…

Good morning. Rain from yesterday that delivered over 1″ of rain is on its way out this morning. This will leave mostly cloudy for today with a few breaks in the clouds at time and highs into the mid and upper 60s to near 70. Winds will be breezy at times gusting to near 25mph, so having a windbreaker for any plans or parade would be a good choice.

The combination of wrap around moisture from yesterdays system, some mid day sun and a weak disturbance moving through Minnesota will deliver pop up showers/t-shower, but nothing widespread and long lasting. Overall, not bad weather for the two parades we have this morning in Appleton at 9am and De Pere at 10am

Tonight, an isolated shower is possible but most will remain cloudy and dry with low temperatures into the 50s. Tomorrow another weak low pressure system arrives and brings a more widespread event of showers and thundershowers. Temperatures will sit in the mid to upper 60s with a north wind 10-15mph. Overnight, temperatures into the mid 40s.

A blocking ridge arrives Wednesday and will bring lots of sunshine Wednesday through Friday and temperatures will slowly climb into the low 70s Thursday and mid 70s Friday.
