Pro-Palestinian supporters, counter-protesters clash at UCLA

STORY: In live aerial views from the Pro-Palestinian encampment, protesters could be seen carrying placards and umbrellas with some wearing traditional Palestinian keffiyeh scarves.

Scuffles broke out with counter-protesters over steel barricades and according to ABC7, fireworks were thrown inside the encampment and sticks were used as weapons. A UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) student newspaper reported that Israeli supporters have violently tried to tear down the Pro-Palestinian encampment.

The Los Angeles mayor said police are responding to the university's request for support on campus.
