President Biden to speak at West Point graduation next month

WEST POINT - President Joe Biden will be the commencement speaker for this year's graduation ceremony at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

The graduation will take place at 10 a.m. May 25 at Michie Stadium.

This will be Biden's third commencement address at West Point, but his first as president and commander-in-chief of U.S. armed forces. He was the commencement speaker twice during his eight years as vice president.

Vice President Kamala Harris was the West Point graduation speaker last year.

Approximately 1,000 West Point cadets will receive their commissions as second lieutenants in the Army during the ceremony.
