Powerball ticket worth $100K sold in York County

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — A Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball ticket with $100,000 has been sold in York County.

According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, the big winning ticket correctly matched four white balls drawn 7-11-19-53-68, and the red Powerball 23, for the Monday, March 25 drawing.

The King Tobacco Express, located at 49 West Market Street in York earned a $500 bonus for the sale.

According to the lottery, more than 119,900 other PA Lottery Powerball tickets also won prizes in the drawing. Those included more than 19,400 tickets purchased with Power Play and more than 18,200 tickets purchased with Double Play.

The Powerball jackpot has been rolling since January 1, 2024 generating more $65 million in sales in Pennsylvania.

According to the lottery, the revenue created a profit of more than $26 million to benefit older Pennsylvanians.

As of Tuesday morning, according to the lottery, Powerball tickets were sold at a rate of about $612 per minute in Pennsylvania.

The current record Powerball jackpot is $2.04 billion, which was sold in California in November 2022. The last jackpot that was won in Pennsylvania was sold in August 2022.
