Powerball ticket sold in Michigan wins $1 million in Saturday's drawing

A look at the Top 10 Powerball jackpots of all time. A ticket in Oregon matched the numbers drawn April 6 to win the fourth largest game in Powerball history and eighth largest among U.S. lottery jackpots.

While the $1.3 billion ($608.9 million cash value) Powerball jackpot won on Saturday night wasn't sold in Michigan, one ticket did win $1 million.

The winning numbers from the Saturday, April 6 drawing were 22, 27, 44, 52 and 69. The Powerball was 9. The Power Play multiplier was 3.

An online player in Michigan matched the five white balls to win $1 million, according to the Michigan Lottery. Tickets in six other states had $1 million winners: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts and Wyoming, according to Powerball.

There was a 3½-hour delay picking the Powerball numbers after one participating lottery needed additional time to complete required pre-draw procedures.

Nobody had won the Powerball since Jan. 1, when a winning $842-million ticket was sold in Michigan.

Drawings are usually held at 10:59 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The jackpot for Monday's Powerball is estimated at $20 million ($9.4 million cash value).
