Portsmouth construction projects to resume in April: What to know

PORTSMOUTH — Seasonal construction projects throughout the city are scheduled to resume April 9, and the Department of Public Works is hosting public pre-construction meetings for each project.

Recorded meetings and presentations are available on the city’s website for the following:

  • Islington Street Project Phase 2A and 2B. This project is expected to resume on April 9. The construction includes completion of Phase 2A, the section of Islington Street from Dover Street to Cornwall Street, and the launch of Phase 2B, from Cornwall Street to Middle Street.   • Pannaway Manor Sidewalks Project Phase 2. This project resumes in the first week of April. For a full recording of the March 20 public meeting, project schedules, and details, visit: portsnh.co/Pannaway.

Upcoming public meetings include:

  • Bartlett Street Project Phase 2, Wednesday, March 27 at 6 p.m. in the DPW Training Room, 680 Peverly Hill Road and via Zoom video conference.

  • Union Street Project Phase 2, April 2 at 6 p.m. in City Hall Conference Room A and via Zoom.

  • Maplewood Avenue Bridge Project, April 11 at 6 p.m. in City Hall Conference Room A and via Zoom.
