“Poll workers are an important part of the voting process. You know they open the poll places up in the morning, and they close them down,” said Vanmeter on Monday, March 18, 2024. “They’re there to register you, and if you have any problems getting registered, you know, checking your voter’s registration, and they’re there to assist you.”

Van Meter added that anyone who is interested may call or go to the Raleigh County Clerk’s Office at the Raleigh County Courthouse.
