Police release photo of suspect wanted in Midtown subway stabbing

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) – Surveillance photos of a suspect accused of a stabbing on the E train in Midtown were released by police.

The person is one of three people wanted in connection to the stabbing, which happened Sunday morning near 53rd Street and Lexington Avenue, according to the NYPD.

The victim was approached by the group, which led to a verbal argument, detectives said. One of the suspects allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times, according to authorities.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. Police haven’t confirmed a motive.
