The car showed flashing red and blue lights on its dashboard so the victim stopped. Two men then got out of the car while wearing silver badges and went up to the victim. While they interacted with each other, one of the men took money from the victim’s wallet and then they got back into their car and drove away.

They were last seen turning right onto Plaza Street NE. They were both wearing grey shirts, blue jeans, black exterior vests and a belt with the silver badges on it.

Anyone with information was asked to call (703) 771-4500.
