Police investigate stolen car in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they are investigating a car theft incident in Wilkes-Barre.

According to officers, on Tuesday around 3:50 p.m., they were dispatched to South Franklin Street for reports of a stolen car.

Officials said sometimes between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. an unknown suspect stole the victim’s 2019 gray Audi while it was parked outside his home.

Drugs seized from Monroe County hotel room, three arrested

Police note this is an ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department at (570)-208-4200.
