Police investigate shooting in Lycoming County

WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are investigating a shooting that took place in Williamsport near a restaurant.

The Williamsport Bureau of Police says on May 19 officers responded to the 700 block of West Fourth Street at the Shamrock Grill for shots fired around 11:08 p.m. outside of the restaurant.

PSP: Man arrested for police chase with children in car

Police say once on the scene they found spent casings confirming that a shooting did take place.
