Which police chief candidate has spent the most on the campaign trail?

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The campaign season for police chief candidates will culminate in the City of San Angelo’s May 4 general election, when residents will decide who will be the next head of the San Angelo Police Department. In the meantime, campaign finance reports can help gauge several important factors for each candidate.

The three candidates for the 2024 SAPD police chief election — Lt. Mike Hernandez, Sgt. Travis Griffith and Lt. Chris Cimino — all sent in their “30th day before election” campaign finance reports as of April 4. These reports show how much support they have received from backers and how much they have spent while on the campaign trail.
