PGPD: Man arrested for 7 armed robberies in 8 days

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — After nearly two months of searching, the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) arrested a man suspected of committing several armed robberies in February.

The man is believed to have robbed several convenience stores in an eight-day span. The stores were in the Capitol Heights, District Heights and Suitland areas.

The most recent robbery happened on Feb. 29 at a store in the 6200 block of Suitland Rd. He was linked to six other robberies between Feb. 21 and Feb. 29.

In each case, PGPD said he was armed with a handgun. No one was injured in the incidents.
