Power nearly restored to over 2,300 whose power went out Thursday in SW Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Power has been restored to most of the more than 2,300 homes and businesses whose power went out Thursday afternoon.

According to PG&E’s website, the outage was reported at around 1 p.m. and affected 2,333 of its customers. The cause was not known, but PG&E says crews are working to restore power.

As of 4:30 p.m. neighborhoods near White Lane and Old River Road remained affected by the outage.

PG&E estimates power would be restored by 5:45 p.m., according to its site.
