Pet Project: Maui looking to smother new owner with kisses

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Kansas Humane Society’s Director of Communications Jordan Bani-Younes brought in Maui, a dog, to KSN’s Pet Project on Thursday afternoon. He weighs 11 pounds and is 2 years old.

Bani-Younes says Maui loves getting pets.

“He loves climbing up on laps and he loves getting kisses and giving kisses,” said Bani-Younes.

He says Maui likes meeting new people.

“He doesn’t know a stranger, and if he did, he would probably kiss them,” said Bani-Younes.

Maui is calm and sweet, except for when he wants something.

“Whenever he wants something, he will yell for it,” said Bani-Younes. “So yeah, he’s a very, very sweet boy, and we hope he finds a home today.”
