Man hit and killed by train at Grand Central–42nd Street station: officials

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was struck and killed by a subway train at the Grand Central–42nd Street station in Manhattan Wednesday, according to officials.

The incident happened around 2:50 p.m., according to the FDNY. The 51-year-old man was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead, police said.

The incident does not appear to be criminal in nature, according to the NYPD.
