Someone was shot in east Charlotte overnight on Sunday.

Shooting victim trying to drive from scene causes chain-reaction crash into home

The shooting happened around midnight on Electra Lane, right by Idlewild Road and Independence Boulevard.

MEDIC said they rushed the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
