Person seriously injured after crash involving tractor-trailer on I-95 in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Officials said one person was in the hospital after a tractor-trailer crash on I-95 Monday evening.

The Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination (MATOC) said the crash was on the northbound lanes past I-495 at 6:50 p.m.

The Prince George’s County Fire Department (PGFD) said that a car was trapped under the tractor-trailer. One person was trapped and had to be rescued.

PGFD said that person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

MATOC said that the ramp from the outer loop was closed but had since reopened.
