Part of I-83 in Cumberland County reopens after multi-vehicle crash

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Part of Interstate 83 was briefly shut down after a multi-vehicle crash Friday in Cumberland County.

According to a PennDOT spokesperson, all northbound lanes were closed at Exit 39 (Route 114/Lewisberry) after the crash and the trapped traffic was moved through on the shoulder of the roadway. The road is reopen.

The crash was reported to PennDOT around 5:30 p.m. and there are no reports of any injuries, according to the spokesperson.
